The OSS State Assessment Peer Review Seminar will offer a variety of plenary sessions, networking opportunities, and engaging breakouts. Panel participants will include assessment experts who have served as peer reviewers in recent years.

Topics under development include:

• What’s new in assessment peer review: ESSA requirements
• Validity evidence for English Language Proficiency (ELP) assessments
• Alternate academic achievement standards for students with significant cognitive disabilities
• Alternate ELP assessments
• Locally selected nationally recognized high school tests
• Best practices in peer review submissions, as seen from reviewers
