Meeting Information

The 2023 SSA State Assessment Conference will take place on September 26 and 27, 2023 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Arlington, VA. The hotel is located at 300 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA 22202. For more information, please visit the DoubleTree by Hilton Website.

On-site registration and check-in will be available between 7:30 A.M. and 5:15 P.M. EST on September 26, and between 7:15 A.M. and 12:45 P.M. EST on September 27.

The conference will begin at 9:00 A.M. EST on September 26 and is scheduled to conclude at 4:30 P.M. EST on September 27.

Hotel Accommodations

The conference room block is now closed. Please note that the DoubleTree by Hilton reserves the right to take reservations at their normal current nightly rate, which may be significantly higher than the conference rate.

Please note that the U.S. Department of Education will not be responsible for paying for any charges associated with your personal travel, lodging, and meals.

Registration Information

Each person planning to attend the 2023 SSA State Assessment Conference must complete a separate online registration. Registration will close on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. EST. Please be sure to complete your registration by this date. Please note: The special conference rate of $257.00 per night at the DoubleTree by Hilton ends on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. EST.

Onsite registration will be available at the meeting for those participants who have not pre-registered online.

Any cancellations of hotel reservations must be made directly with the hotel at 1-800-774-1500.
