“Talk. They Hear You.” Campaign Relaunch Event, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST Live Event
National Prevention Week kicks off with the relaunch of
SAMHSA’s “Talk. They Hear You.”® Campaign (TTHY). Through this campaign, SAMHSA
aims to reduce underage drinking and substance use by providing
guardians with information and resources they need to address these issues. Join the TTHY team to get an overview of the campaign and hear from featured partners about how they’ve implemented TTHY in their communities.

Communities Talk Prevention Success Stories Webinar, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST Live Event
Join the Communities Talk to Prevent Alcohol and Other Drug
Misuse team for a prevention conversation that showcases
and celebrates prevention success stories in four diverse
communities. The conversation will highlight successful
prevention strategies, such as participation in National
Prevention Week, along with lessons learned. Since 2006,
Communities Talk has provided prevention resources and
planning stipends to thousands of community-based organizations,
colleges, and universities to develop tailored strategies
that work in their communities.
