We are excited to announce the release of our new fact sheet, Virtual Trainings by Request (VTBRs): Support for Your Education Agency’s Emergency Preparedness Efforts. This fact sheet provides information about the REMS TA Center’s VTBRs program, including the following.

  • Featured VTBR Training Topics — The REMS TA Center continually adds new Train-the-Trainer and Train-the-Educator virtual training topics for delivery to the field. These virtual training topics will complement your education agency’s emergency management and preparedness efforts by ensuring that your education agency is learning the training principles necessary to be prepared for all hazards and threats.
  • How VTBRs Can Support Your Professional Development — The REMS TA Center has developed several helpful training series to make it easier to host trainings to meet your education agency’s needs. These topical training series focus on virtual training pairings to host in sequential order to ensure that your education agency is working toward the next steps in applying applicable training principles.
  • How to Request a Free VTBR for Your Education Agency — Lastly, from the initial training request to the training delivery, this fact sheet outlines the criteria and steps necessary to request and host free virtual trainings for your education agency through the REMS TA Center.
