Archived Webinar: Exploring the REMS TA Center At a Glance: Safety, Security, Emergency Management, and Preparedness Services and Supports for Education Agencies

The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of Safe and Supportive Schools (OSSS) and its Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) Technical Assistance (TA) Center hosted a Webinar to highlight the REMS TA Center’s services and showcase how you can interact with the REMS TA Center Website and Help Desk for support. During this 30-minute Webinar, presenters:

• Provide a broad overview of the REMS TA Center’s layers of service and describe whom the REMS TA Center serves;
• Highlight new resources that support planning for COVID-19, as well as new resources that support all-hazards planning and emergency operations plan development; and
• Review key resources and how to engage with the REMS TA Center.

The intended audience for this Webinar is K-12 schools, school districts, institutions of higher education, regional education agencies, and state education agencies, along with their community partners with a role or responsibility in school/higher ed safety, security, emergency management, and preparedness.
