Combined Federal Programs Meeting


Thank you for your interest in attending the U.S. Department of Education Combined Federal Programs Meeting for State Directors of Title I, Title II, Title III, School Improvement, Foster Care, and Special Education Programs hosted by the Office of State Support and the Office of Special Education Programs.

This year’s meeting will be held from December 6-7, 2018 at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. The theme for the meeting is “Improving Student Achievement through Analysis, Evaluation, and Accountability.” Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in plenary sessions on policy and program discussions with Department leaders, concurrent breakout presentations from Department teams and other partners, individual state conversations with program officers, and peer networking opportunities with other State leaders.

States are encouraged to send State teams with representation across federal programs to promote discussion and alignment of ESSA implementation across programs.

Title II, Part A Directors Meeting - Leveraging Title II, Part A: Creating Sustainable Systems of School Leadership to Improve Student Outcomes

On December 5, 2018, immediately prior to the Combined Federal Programs Meeting, the Office of State Support (OSS) will convene a meeting for directors of Title II, Part A programs.
