The Administration for Community Living (ACL) is pleased to announce the 2026 New Director Training. The meeting will take place at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center on April 28–29, 2026. Please also save the dates of April 27 and April 30 to accommodate travel to and from the meeting.

Synergy Enterprises, Inc. (Synergy) has reserved a block of discounted sleeping rooms at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. Please see more information under the “Logistics” tab.

Attendance

New program directors must register for and attend all sessions. New directors are directors who started in February 2025 or later. ACL requires all new SHIP , SMP , and MIPPA directors to attend this event. Experienced directors may also be offered the opportunity to attend this event, depending on their interest and registration totals for new directors.

Timeline

January 30, 2026: New Director Training registration opens
April 6, 2026: Last day for discounted hotel rooms
April 10, 2026: New Director Training registration closes
April 28–29, 2026: The 2-day New Director Training takes place
