We are pleased to announce that the REMS TA Center Website has a new look! Designed to make it easier for YOU to find resources, tools, and training, our Website encompasses a new navigation, home page, and other pages across the site that house our Webinars, Tool Box, and Trainings by Request. ABOUT: Find information on the REMS TA Center and who we serve, the Community of Practice and how to join, creative materials such as Web badges and email signature banners, and programs we support, including the Federal Commission on School Safety and its final recommendations to keep students safe at school, the U.S. Department of Education’s Grants to States for School Emergency Management grant program, the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills to practice what to do during earthquakes, and PrepareAthon to increase emergency preparedness and resilience in communities nationwide.

All of the Webinars that we host throughout the year with subject matter experts are archived and accessible for viewing at a later date. We now have over 50 archived Webinars, and so we added a new search feature to our Webinars page to make it easier for you to filter and find one that suits your needs. You may search by audience, topic, or date to find a virtual training that is most relevant for you.

New Search Feature in the Tool Box
The Tool Box is a virtual library of over 300 tools developed by school and higher ed emergency managers in the field. Now you may use the new search feature on our Tool Box page to find resources created by your peers! Use the Basic Search to search by key words of audience or the Advanced Search to search by more criteria (e.g., type, topic, file format, language).

Have you created tools, documents, templates, or presentations for your education agency to use in emergency management planning? Please submit your tools today to the REMS TA Center's Tool Box, so that other practitioners in the field can benefit from your great work! All authors are given credit for their tools within the Tool Box.

Redesigned Trainings by Request Page

Upcoming Events The REMS TA Center’s Training by Request (TBR) program offers a variety of trainings for delivery on site at your education agency. Visit our TBR page to see what training topics we offer, as well as the intended audience and the minimum and maximum number of participants for each training.




New Step-by-Step Instructions for Hosting a TBR
We have outlined the step-by-step process for hosting a TBR so that you know what you can expect and the approximate timeline after you submit a completed TBR Host Application Form. Details include, but are not limited to, registration, training materials and supplies, training delivery, on-site registration, online evaluations, and certificates of participation and are all featured on our TBR page.
